After retiring from database consulting, I created several Access courses on the Udemy platform. Many people took them and experienced great success. They appreciated how the courses used real-world examples and walked them step by step through learning Access.

But something wasn’t right.

Even though lots of students had success – many MORE were NOT successful!

Some never even got started. Others began learning but got stuck when trying to implement what they’d learned in their own database. Eventually many of these gave up out of frustration.

I realized that they were failing because I hadn’t addressed this “stuck” problem in my courses.

I did some research on other Access courses and found that they had the same issue — lots of instruction on techniques, but silence when it came to what to do WHEN (not if!) you get stuck.

I believe that not addressing this is the reason so many people fail and ultimately give up on Access.

But here’s where my experience as a consultant gave me a different perspective.  I have worked with hundreds of databases and clients asking me to implement all kinds of capabilities.  I regularly got stuck! 

But that is when the realization hit me…

I LOVED situations where I got stuck!

What?  OK, let me give you an example.

I remember one specific day working with a client. We had looked at adding an improvement to her database but couldn’t figure out how to do it. Still, I scheduled a visit to implement the improvement — even though I didn’t yet know how I would do it!

Driving there, I thought, “This is going to be a great day!”

I was genuinely excited — not because I had the answer, but because I didn’t.

Think about that. The same situation — being stuck — that causes so many people to give up on Access was my favorite part of my work.

Its because, as a consultant, I had to find a way to handle these stuck situations and, in developing that method over the years, I found that I actually began to enjoy the challenge.

These situations became stimulating, enjoyable – even relaxing!  

But lets go back to what typically happens to people take a course and try to learn Access.

Many of these people (and maybe you too!) have quit in frustration from the same kind situation that I would look forward to.  How can that be?

AND, more than that – could it be that how you handle being stuck is the KEY to succeeding with Access?

You could take every Access course out there but, ultimately, you are going to be faced with trying to do something that none of the courses covered.  No searches on Youtube help and you can’t find the answer anywhere.  What do you do then?

You need to know exactly what to do before this situation ever happens.

In the A2P Community, you will learn to develop what I call the Success Attitude — a mindset and method that allows you to actually enjoy the very situations that would normally cause frustration. You will know EXACTLY what to do when you get stuck!   Far from being frustrated, you will be able to think creatively, solve problems, and not only turn setbacks into breakthroughs, but use them to discover entire new ways to use Access!

Looking back, I realize this is how I learned much of what I know about Access: figuring out how to push through or work around obstacles. 

And I know that anyone of average intelligence can learn this method and learn to succeed where others fail, because I’ve helped many people do just that.

Right now businesses are desperately searching for ways to increase productivity.  Do you think it will be worthwhile  to develop the Success Attitude?  To be able to reduce existing multi hour tasks to a couple mouse clicks?  

You already know that the payoff would be HUGE!  You would become an Access HERO at work!

But can you also imagine what it would be like being part of a COMMUNITY of people who have learned and use the Success Attitude?
