I agree, there is too much to learn with Access! BUT you only have to learn a tiny fraction of what Access can do to be able to create incredibly powerful databases. I mean databases that can take multi-hour tasks and do exactly the same thing in just a few seconds.

Take a look at the DEMO for an example of that.

So it seems like there is too much to learn, but the truth is that Access is so incredibly deep that, no matter what you need to do, there is a tool or a technique for that. I’ve been working with this program for decades and there are many things I don’t know.

But isn’t that a good, no a GREAT thing? Who wants to work on learning a program only to find that it can’t do this or that later on? In over 30 years as a consultant for businesses of all types, I was always able to do whatever my clients wanted with just Access!

There is a challenge right up front when you migrate your data from Excel to Access, but I have videos that show you step-by-step exactly how to do that. I will show you what to learn to get started, then you can ignore (and really SHOULD ignore) everything else until you get used to the program.

And if it is all too much to get started with, I have an alternative plan. If you want, you can hire me to import your Excel data, setup the database and automate your first task. Then you will have an example of a database that you can inspect and it will be even easier to see how it all works.

So you don’t need to learn everything. But everything you need to get started is right here.
